Wanted one ever since the Israeli''s started developing it in 44 magnum. Got the 50AE as a birthday present from one of my sons who is in the US Army so I am doubly proud! If you crave attention, shoot one of these at a range. Turcotte range officer came runnin''& hollerin''the first time I shot it, wanting to know what I was shooting! It is accurate, dependable and a whole lot of fun to shoot. My 19 year old daughter enjoyed shooting it. Sissies will find the recoil a little much. Lol. The only disappointment was that it came with only one magazine while the box clearly has place for two. A call to the factory was met with a curt That''s how it''s sold So much for Magnum Research!

I bought the Deagle to replace the 44 Mag I used to carry while hiking. The revolver got boring after awhile, and I wanted to find a semi-auto. That is harder than it sounds, there arent many pistols that can stand up to the might of the Alaskan wilderness. Here enters the Mark XIX. I have never seen a pistol so powerful before. I feel no fear when I have it by my side. Plus, if I ever want, the Mark XIX is extremely easy to convert to 44 and 357! Sure, the Desert Eagle is expensive, but no other semi-auto can compare to it.

I live my Desert Eagle,it has saved my hide more than once,with a growing bear population in Anchorage, this gun is effective at what it does. It is easy to convert to 44mag and 357. I love this gun. I will have to say that this gun is not for the beginner though.

I have always wanted one of these from when they first came out. I saw my first Desert Eagle in the late 80''s. It is the one firearm/handgun I''ve always wanted in my collection. I will admit that the amount of money spent made me question buying it over the Internet. But I did do just that. I was very pleased with the contact I received from the company and the confirmation email''s that they had also received all the proper paperwork and the date of shipment. This customer service is NOT the norm these days. The Desert Eagle was perfect, no blemishes. It shoots perfect. I thought about getting millet sites put on for adjustment but it doesn''t need them. I shoot left handed and most weapon''s are set up Right handed which normally means I''m going to have to drift the site some. Not this time though. Yes, it''s a lot of money for a gun like this but it''s recoil felt while shooting is no worse than a 240 grain 44mag. Due to the weight and the gas system. It was very stiff at the slide but after just a magazine worth, it free''d up and isn''t an problem. I highly recommend this gun and more importantly this company for purchasing the Desert Eagle. . . It''s been a pleasure to deal with y''all.

Awesome handgun, precise shooting and extremely accurate. Decided to send mine off to Ford''s Custome Gun Refinishing and have it refinished in bright high chrome with 24k gold accents.
