Just got mine today and it ran all 8 shot flawlessly and as fast as I could pull the trigger. I had bought a Pro Mag before and it would not allow the slide to close all the way after the first shot. I would recommend ONLY buying Magnum Research mags for your desert eagle. If you're going to own a gun like this you want quality parts for it.
