A beautiful weapon to fire and I had the pleasure to fire this weapon at the range and fell in love with it. Even with the sights unadjusted it gave three shot group That my old drill instructor would be proud of

A big, heavy gun. Know what you are getting into. This is not Hollywood. You don't carry this gun under your coat for protection. This gun is for hunting or target shooting, at those things it is great. Recoil is surprisingly light due to the weight and design of the recoil system.

This is a great handgun the only issue I have, which is really nothing, is that you must use good ammunition in it. I''ve used the cheap ammo and it jams, but with the better ammo like Winchester, Remington, Hornady there''s no problems. Some people say that its too heavy, but if my wife can shoot it and you have a grip better than an infant, the weight is actually a plus. The Mark XIX can be changed from a .44 magnum to a 50 cal with a quick barrel and magazine change in about 10 sec. In California you can only get the DE44CA, you can\''t buy the .357 or 50 cal, but with all the parts being interchangeable I can order new barrels, bolt ]bolt for .357 mag.[ and magazines and have 3 guns in one. I did change the grip and added new fixed night sights just to make it a little better. If your a gun geek and you have lots of guns already this is a must for your collection or if this is your first handgun this weapon is like jumping in with both feet. It''s a very cool handgun.
