I bought one of these a few years back and was very disappointed in remington . i went through 3 stocks, their customer service is very good i must say . the design of the sling mounts break too easily and are molded ears on the plastic stock i wouldnt even call this synthetic. and the recoil pad leaves alot to be desired it does not absorb much at all. last i checked no aftermarket parts for it either. got rid of it and bought a savage
